Meet Rebecca

Hi there! You may not know this, but this has been a long time coming for me. Let me start by introducing myself: I am Rebecca, and I am about 15 years into a law/healthcare career. I have 3 amazing kids - twin 5 year olds and a 7 year old; an addiction to rescuing dogs (I mean, it could be so much worse and take a look at one of our cuties to the left); and a husband who has a lot of patience.

I've had a long standing love affair with all things fashion for as long as I remember, and I believe that once you find a piece that you love, you buy it in every color that works for you - even if you end up having mostly an all-black wardrobe.  My goal is to share with you what I see as my personal style mantra: Classic with an Edge. So be on the lookout for outfit ideas, ideas of clothes, jewelry and accessories to invest in, and so much more!

After years of feeling helpless and heartbroken by the dog meat trade, this husband and wife duo decided to take their love for animals to the next level by starting Bunny’s Buddies, an organization that rescues dogs from slaughterhouses, kill shelters and the streets of Asia in hopes to place them into loving new homes.

A western NY based rescue organization, we rescued our now 2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback Lab mix, Hazel, from this organization and had a wonderful experience with them.

Based in Chicago, my husband and I rescued our first dog, Marley, together after we had only been dating for 3 months - luckily it all worked out and Marley was our first child and our best friend for 12 years.

An Annapolis, MD based rescue, this is where we rescued our beautiful Barney (pictured to the left).  We went to one of their rescue events, fell in love the second we laid eyes on him and scooped him up immediately!
